We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Joseph Vautour to the position of Information Systems Coordinator-Webmaster. Joe, as we like to address him, is a proud Metis who lends his expertise and strong experience to building our Information Systems structure and new MNOC website.

After a career in the Canadian Military in Signals/Communications, Joe joined NATO as a civilian to work in computer systems for the last 21 years. He did extensive traveling including a tour in Afghanistan. He also achieved the rank of 7th degree black belt in ISA Tae Kwon Do and 6th degree in WTF Tae Kwon Do.

Joe is also a musician who performed in many locations in Europe, Afghanistan, and is just starting to play here in Canada. Newly retired, Joe chose to give back to the Metis community, and we are blessed and very happy to welcome him to a group of highly dedicated people. We all look forward to working with Joe towards leaving a meaningful legacy to the next generations.
